The Paul Cemetery has been in existence for a very long time!

Here is a condensed version of our story!

One day, Robert Paul and his wife, Sarah, went for a walk during which they covered just about every square inch of his farm. Suddenly Robert stopped and stood silent with his eyes fixed on a huge oak tree. Thinking that something was wrong, Sarah walked back to where he was standing, and just when she was about to speak, Robert smiled, placed his arm around her waist and they walked toward the big oak tree. "Sarah," Robert said, "Bury me under that oak tree when I die."  Upon his death at age 42, in the year 1874, Sarah Paul did indeed bury her husband, just as he had requested, under the old oak tree - the area now know as Paul Cemetery.
